It's my considered belief that an awful lot of those folk most influenced by him were (past tense of the verb "to be") lunatics. He does give good quote, though.
Today had the misfortune of dawning bright and cheery, on the heels of several delightfully gloomy days. I squinted every time I went out, and sneezed, too. The woodpeckers probably enjoyed the day more than I did. Also, I have leaves to rake, and I don't feel like raking leaves. I'm sure I'll feel better when the accustomed November dreariness returns, but for now, all that sunshine has put me in a surly mood. Now, more tea, and a shower to remind me of the late rains.
