The clouds are dense and low, making tonight both darker and warmer than recent nights, and a fog is beginning to form. It smells good- fresh, with a bit of pine in it. Spring fogs are usually a bit piney here. In the valley they have a mustier, slightly swampy smell. I like the valley fogs, too, but the mountain fogs are more invigorating. Not that I need invigoration just now. In fact, I have a dental appointment this afternoon, and would rather get to sleep than have a fog luring me out into the morning twilight. I'm going to get a leaky filling replaced, so that means sticking and numbing and drilling and grinding and stuffing, all of which are unpleasant, and even more unpleasant when I haven't had enough sleep.

I got a roll of pictures back from the developer yesterday, but I haven't uploaded any of them yet. There are a couple of shots from the unexpectedly snowy day, and I'll try to get those posted sometime soon. I've also tracked down several of my old posts from which the pictures are now missing, and those pictures will all have to be uploaded to Scrapbook and the posts edited with the new HTML. It's going to be a busy time doing that. I've barely gotten started and I already want to take a break. Oh, now the fog has sneaked in the window and grabbed me by the nose and I have to go out.
