Dawn's unwelcome light is creeping up, even before the moon has set. Another warm day, no doubt. Sluggo is already demonstrating considerable annoyance at this meteorological misfortune. He took a few naps last night, and I was forced to spend the off-time staring at the pages of a book and not reading them, being myself bemused by the rapid onset of spring. Though always prone to woolgathering, I grow most distracted when this seductive balminess arrives. Hours can pass unheeded while my mind wanders, and then I will return to awareness and find all I have thought dissolving like a dream. Thus I know that one can be in two places at once, but can remain aware of only one of them.
