Comes the Yawn

Another unexpected nap, induced no doubt by the hypnotic sound of rainfall. If I lived in Seattle, I might sleep away most of the year. That might be good. It would let me make up for all the years in which I've slept too little. I'm convinced that there is no such thing as a happy medium, though, and I doubt that "happy" is a word aptly applied to averages. Oh, crap. I'm babbling. Still not fully awake, and also ready to go back to sleep at once. Recent weeks have been too odd, even for me. I suspect that more surprises lurk. I'll try to sleep through them.

I had intended to post something by John Donne for Valentine's Day, but I'm too tired. Just go pick one of these.
