Silent Night

Well, it would have been silent, if not for my repeated cursing of this infernal machine. But it was silent outside. No deer visited the street tonight, that I know of, and I was outside frequently, cooling off after each infuriating computer crash. The stars are so reliable, doing their slow turn across the sky. It pleases me to remember that they will still be much the same when Sluggo and I are dust.
