Tuckered Out

According to the August Status Report, all paid users now have access to the beta version of LJ's image hosting service. I created an album and tried to upload a picture to it, but it isn't working for me. I keep getting an error message saying that the upload has failed. It might not be quite ready for use with Opera, and I'm not quite ready to use a different browser. It might just still be a bit wonky in general. Maybe I'll try again this afternoon. In any case, I've still got a bit more than four months to go on my PictureTrail account, so there's plenty of time for LJ to get the bugs out. Trying to get it to work was an interesting way to squander an hour, though.

Thus far, September hasn't decided to get cool, but I've waited this long, so I can be patient. Orion is now well clear of the trees before the sky begins to pale. I go out to view his progress every night. I'm not sure, but I think that in a few days he might be impaled on the waning crescent moon. That's something I don't recall having seen before, but then I haven't paid much attention before. This time I'm going to watch.

Good-nightday, moon.
