Serene Evening, and Comment Whore's Delight

This evening's sky had a touch of grayness to it, though the afternoon was not hazy. A few minutes ago, I was looking at a particularly dark and dense spray of pine needles on a ponderosa a hundred feet west when the spray suddenly flew into the air. I was momentarily startled until I realized that it was a crow which had been perched on the branch, blending perfectly with the tree's dark silhouette. It let out a single caw, and I listened to its beating wings as it flew eastward into the gathering darkness. Silence fell, and the warm, still air suddenly cleared, revealing a sky of deep, twilight blue in which the first star glowed.

It shows the most recent comments posted to your journal and the most recent comments you have made. (You must be logged in to use it.) Free users can fetch 10 of each, and paid users fetch 50. This could be very handy.
