I caught a glimpse of crescent moon before it slid behind the trees. Now the darkness is full of stars, and from the corner of my eye I saw one meteor streak toward Alaska. The air seems a bit cleaner tonight, and the autumnal coolness a bit sharper. The afternoons are beginning to take on the yellow cast of the turning leaves. The sun rises late enough that, most days, I am able to get to sleep before the light disturbs me. Improvement, slow but sure.
