Spray

Sprinklers have been chattering in the darkness. The sound of Rainbirds makes me nostalgic. I recall being stuck in classrooms on fine days, listening to dull lectures, and suddenly hearing the sprinklers in front of the school go on. My attention would shift, and I would listen to the hypnotic sound outdoors and miss the lecture. I didn't do well in school, but I enjoyed many hours of imaginary play in the fountains spraying across the green lawns.
