Computer Conniptions

I have plenty of time to watch the night, but little to write about it, now that Sluggo is suffering from heat stroke. The moon rose late, but even before then the stars seemed pale and fewer than I expected. Either there is a haze hanging over the ridge, or I am developing night blindness. I heard bats squeaking in the night. Hunting mosquitoes, I hope. The bite on my wrist is still itching, after two days. It is nearing dawn, now, and the early light reveals the yellow pollen which has collected on the driveway. It is quite thick this year. If there is more rain (unlikely) within the next few days, the runoff will be yellow. Everything is still strange this year. I don't think I'll be able to upload more pictures anytime soon, as Sluggo won't remain stable long enough to do it. I haven't even been able to fetch the e-mail tonight. I know I've got some, because I saw the inbox just before the last crash. I don't know if it's spam, or notifications from LJ. I wish Juno would get its act together and give me back full e-mail service. Eh, things are crappy right now. Must post this before Sluggo goes into another fit.
