Excuses, Excuses!

The clouds remained thin enough that I was able to watch the moon for a while. It gradually got fuzzier as the clouds thickened again, and then there were some nice, gentle mists and a few sprinkles, as soft as falling petals. Now the blue jays are screeching to wake me up, and I haven't been to sleep. I got nothing done all night. I ate too much pasta for dinner. I ate peanut butter sandwiches at three o'clock in the morning. That was probably foolish. I feel too stuffed to sleep well. The sun will soon be up, making the room too bright. I'm going to pull the covers over my head and hold them down with a cat. Which reminds me --shopping tomorrow afternoon. Kitties need food.
