Reset Thirty-Five, Day Thirty-Five

The split shift sleeping is back. I'm sleeping the middles out of both days and nights. It as about eleven to three Monday and Monday night, and it's very annoying. It takes a couple of hours for my brain to engage after I get up, and now I have to do it twice a day. And I never feel entirely rested. Most likely the cause is just age, but lack of exercise probably contributes to it. Now that sweating season is over, I might try walking up and down the block a couple of times a day.

At least I made a fairly decent dinner Monday. I fixed a package of pre-flavored Spanish rice and opened a can of refried beans and had them with a microwaved frozen tamale. It bore a passing resemblance to an actual meal in a Mexican restaurant. There is enough rice and beans for two more meals, and I have a fresh package of frozen tamales, so I could make myself sick of this meal over the next few days.

It's still supposed to rain a bit Friday morning, but the chances are declining. The rainy season started well with that one big storm, but maybe we won't be getting any more of those this year. The next possibility after Friday isn't until near the end of the month, and the percentages aren't very high. Something to worry about while I'm trying to go to sleep and trying to wake up.

Now I'm going to go cover myself with blankets and read something on paper. That's as far ahead as I can plan right now.
