Reset Thirty-Five, Day Two

It's possible that I knew it was Wednesday, but I don't remember thinking about it all day, or what was left of the day after I woke up, until after midnight when I looked at the computer's little time device down there in the corner and thought Oh, so it's Thursday now? Where did the fragment of the day I was awake for go? I certainly didn't spend ay of it washing dishes, as two day's worth are still sitting around dirty. I also didn't spend any of it doing laundry, as the laundry I'd intended to do remains undone. Nor did I spend any of it cooking, as I have a distinct memory of eating a sandwich. Probably because the dishes for cooking were dirty. It wasn't because the day was hot, because it wasn't. That much I do remember. In fact I believe I've been wearing a hoodie indoors all day. I might have slept in it.

The only conclusion I can come to is that I've been in a coma. I'll bet I'm in a coma right now, and only imagining that I'm writing this entry. I'll wake up tomorrow, or when I come out of the coma, and find that Wednesday hasn't happened yet, or happened without me. I'll wake up and it will be yesterday, or ten years from now, and I'll be unable to tell the difference. But for someone who has been in a coma all day and doing nothing I feel awfully tired. I think I'm going to go to bed, or imagine I'm going to bed, and dream about going to sleep and waking up well rested. That will be one dream I really hope I'll remember.
