Reset Twenty-One, Day Seven

Friday was for all practical purposes indistinguishable from any of the other hot days we've had lately. I fired up an electric burner long enough to grill a cheese sandwich, but didn't cook anything else all day, not even in the microwave. There was beer that was not porter, and I finished off a couple of bags of random chips, plus my usual donut and iced tea and orange juice and a couple of cookies. It doesn't seem like an adequate diet, but in this weather I don't feel like eating very much. I just sit around all day so I guess I don't need to. But I go through a hell of a lot of water.

There's hotter weather ahead again toward the end of next week and the beginning of the following one. But I'm not going to worry about it as I could easily be dead by then and not have to deal with it, and then my worry would have been for nothing. As Brian said, always look on the bright side of life. But stay out of the direct sunlight. Now if only I could get those mosquitos or whatever they are from biting me, summer would be merely dreadful instead of crazed psycho killer dreadful.

An hour or so ago I feel asleep with my head on the table and now my neck feels especially weird. I think I only slept for about fifteen minutes or so, but it was long enough to get something out of joint. I need to be more careful about such things, now that I don't have a chiropractor anymore.

Tired, as always.
