Reset Twenty, Day Thirteen

It's little more than a week until hellish days, and nights that are much too warm, will begin. I should probably just not think about it until it's here, but every time I go outside and feel the warmth of the day or the cool of the night, the impending change comes into my mind. Each day is going to be a bit hotter and each night a bit warmer as that time approaches, so the reminders will keep coming. Sunday was not yet very bad, but today is going to be worse.

In the meantime I've been watching music videos. I haven't been feeling well lately, and when I don't feel well my favorite distraction is watching old movies, but since I don't have cable anymore or unlimited bandwidth from my Internet connection movies are pretty much out. My second choice of distractions is music. If I download a song from YouTube I can play it multiple times without using any more bandwidth (plus I only have to see the introductory ads they put on them now once.) Late at night I like to play restful stuff, so right now I'm on my sixth of seventh playing of Fleetwood Mac's "Albatross." It's not only restful, but feels very cool. As the weather heats up (and I doubt I'll start feeling any better as that happens) I suspect I'll be listening to it frequently.
