Reset Sixteen, Day Forty-Two

Grocery shopping got done Monday, and even though I didn't do it myself I ended up as exhausted as though I had. The exhaustion hit around nine o'clock in the evening, and I took to my bed like an invalid, then slept until two this morning. I didn't even fix any dinner, despite the variety of foodstuffs I had acquired. Or maybe it was partly because of that variety. I just couldn't decide what to eat. But also I just didn't feel like doing any actual cooking. I still didn't feel like it when I woke up, and ended up just microwaving a ramen bowl.

Today we will return to cooler weather, and there is potentially good news ahead, as there is at last an even chance of some rain on each of the last seven days of the month. Even if they all get some rain it probably won't be enough to make up for the shortfall we've suffered so far this winter. And its not going to be cold enough to put much snow on our almost-barren mountains.

The sky is getting a bit pale now. The sun will come up and I suppose keep me awake. Eventually I will sleep anyway, and when I wake up I'll probably be sad and anxious. That's what usually happens these days. Then there will be distractions from it, like this. That's also what usually happens these days.
