Reset Sixteen, Day Twenty-three
Wednesday turned out to be a no-nap night. Not waking up until almost two o'clock in the afternoon certainly contributed to that. The irregularity of my sleep has made it impossible for me to be sure just how much sleep I'm actually getting. It feels like I'm not getting enough though. I'm going to try to get to sleep earlier tonight/this morning. Wednesday I seriously overshot and didn't get to sleep until very late, though I've totally forgotten just how late. It was daylight, anyway.
Today is the last day of the year, and I'm sure everybody else will be as glad to see it go as I will. I wouldn't mind drinking my way through New Year's Eve, but that will only happen if I feel better today than I did yesterday. I've had a low grade headache, the tip of my tongue is sore because I bit it last night while eating some popcorn, and a couple of hours ago I started getting the beginning of a toothache. So far my dinner has not given me indigestion, so perhaps I've dodged that particular bullet this time.
The overnight rain we were supposed to be getting by now has been all but cancelled, but I've brought my yard chair in anyway, just in case. It's still supposed to be mostly sunny today, but I'm sort of expecting a blizzard or a tornado or an earthquake of something, because, you know, 2020. Come to think of it, I didn't see any of my neighbors around all day Wednesday. I wonder if they are lurking in their apartments, turning into zombies? It wouldn't surprise me.
