Reset Ten, Day Seven

I was going to take a shower Tuesday evening and then I got hung up on the Internets watching clips of Drunk History on YouTube, and totally forgot until it was too late. I'm pretty sure my shower makes noise in the apartment next door so I don't want to use it at this hour. Now I'll probably die during the night and will be grubby and won't have clean underwear on. But then my corpse will probably lie here for several days before it gets discovered, and by then they won't be able to tell I was unshowered when I died, so I guess I shouldn't worry about it.

There was a distressing moment Tuesday evening when the lights flickered three times and the clock on the kitchen range unset itself. For a moment it seemed certain that there would be a power failure, so I grabbed the nearby flashlight while it was still visible, but the lights stayed on. It would have been a terrible time for an outage, as it was still quite sultry outside. The air conditioner is still running even now, as the outdoor air is not cool enough to properly chill the apartment. I hope it will be by the time I go to bed.

Whoa. I just lost track of two hours. I guess I should have gone to bed earlier. Time is all out of whack. Really tired now though. If my neck doesn't go out of joint when I lie down I should be able to sleep reasonably well for a while.
