Oh, after midnight. The time got away from me again. It seemed like such a long day while it was happening, but now it seems short. I thought about going out to pick up a six pack of beer in the afternoon but never got around to it. In fact I haven't been feeling very well. The effects of the virus are lingering in a cough and periodic sniffles, but my stomach has been bothering me too. It feels stuffed even when I haven't eaten or drunk anything. My joints feel a bit stiffer than usual too. That's probably from the chill that has returned to the air. Anyway, crappy, and I don't feel like doing anything. I think I'll try to eat a bowl of ramen and then read for a while before going to sleep.

It did rain early Saturday before I went to sleep, but by the time I woke up there was bright sunshine seeping through the blinds. It was bright but not very warm, and it was still damp outside. In fact the damp in the back yard still hasn't dried. There was a visit from the mockingbird around one o'clock, but it was too chilly for me to stay outside and listen for long. Maybe I'll feel better tomorrow (today) though it isn't going to be any warmer. There probably won't be more rain until later this week, and maybe not even then.

Okay, my brain just wandered off somewhere for fifteen minutes, so I obviously need to let it rest.
