I already have an electric blanket, and a couple of ordinary throws, but I imagined myself sitting on the couch reading, with the cozy electric throw over me, and just couldn't resist. Of course before I can sit on the couch reading, all comfy under my electric throw, I'll have to get some sort of reading lamp, and some sort of table to put it on, but what the hell. You only get old and arthritic once, right? So you might as well enjoy it.
This evening I had another bout of sleepiness, but I didn't succumb to the temptation to go take a nap. That means I'm still rather sleepy now, but I don't want to go to bed too early, since I'd then wake up too early tomorrow. I'm trying to get something resembling a normal schedule, and it isn't promising, but I'm going to try anyway. The risk that I'll dislocate my jaw yawning is probably not too great.
The long range forecast is showing a 20% chance of showers a week from this coming Saturday, and then either a 10% or 29% chance of showers for each of the four following days. Such forecasts can vanish quickly this time of year, or they can intensify, and maybe we will be getting a decent autumn storm by then. I am quite tired of the dryness, and I'm eager to hear rain on the roof again.
