There are still a couple of cats I'd like to go see at the Chico animal shelter. All the cats there are being released for adoption tomorrow, but adoptions might not go very fast, and there is one who might well be Shorty, my back yard feral. There are also black cats who resemble Shadow, and one tuxedo who resembles Portia, but I doubt any of them actually are mine. Still, it's hard to tell from photos, so I'd like to go see them. Because they are now in Chico (several were moved here from Oroville) I might be able to get to the shelter on the bus, as it is unlikely I'd be able to get a ride from any of my relatives. They are busy and don't seem much concerned about the cats.
I will get a ride to go shopping, though, possibly tomorrow, and probably to the bank, most likely Monday. Sunday is still predicted to be rainy, so then I'll most likely be stuck in here all day again. I do miss watching English people murder one another on television Sunday nights. That was one of the highlights of my week, back when my life was normalish. It's never going to be normalish here.
