It has been sprinkling again for the last hour or so, and there might be a bit more rain tomorrow morning, but probably very little, and after tomorrow the temperatures start rising rapidly. 83 Sunday and 88 Monday and Tuesday, it says, but I wouldn't be surprised if they go even higher. Thankfully there are still no hot nights predicted. They are sure to arrive in June, though. I'm definitely not looking forward to that.
It would be nice if we got enough rain tonight to replenish the frog stream, but it seems unlikely. At least this storm has not brought any thunder and lightning. Not yet, anyway. Despite this, the chill has brought the smell of smoke as neighbors light their wood stoves and fireplaces. And next week might bring the smell of barbecuing, it's going to be getting so warm. In fact the balmy upcoming Monday, being a holiday, is sure to instigate some barbecuing. From fireplaces to barbecues in three days. Ah, spring.
