Fancy Murder-Free

It's supposed to be a bit warmer tomorrow, which will please me. I've been feeling a bit too cold all day today, even when the sun was out. But then it will cool off again Monday, and be quite chilly by Tuesday, and probably stay that way for at least a week. I'm not looking forward to that, though we could get a few inches of rain out of the deal, which would sort of make up for it a little. But I'm seriously ready for winter to be over, yet not at all ready for summer to arrive. A nice, long, mild spring would be great. Can that be arranged? Probably not.

The frog song is not being drowned out by barking dogs tonight, but it's too cold for me to stay outside listening to them for long. Maybe tomorrow night will be better. It's unfortunate that it's not warm tonight, as the local PBS station is having one of its quarterly beg-a-thons, so no English people will be murdering one another tonight, and it would be a perfect time to sit on the back porch listening to frogs and enjoying some mild evening air.

Instead I'll probably just watch reruns of Americans murdering one another on the Hallmark Murder and Glurge Channel. That is if I can get Portia off my lap long enough to move into the living room. Some popcorn would be nice, too. Would be nicer if I could get warm.
