It is quite chilly tonight, and there are a couple of quite chilly days (and nights) coming up. The very bad news is that the prediction of rain later this week has been rescinded. So, a useless dry cold. Annoying.

Also my back has felt worse today than it did yesterday. That does not bode well for tomorrow' shopping trip. And it certainly doesn't bode well for this entry, as I can't sit here long enough to write very much, and don't want to drag it out by returning over and over for brief bouts of writing.

On the other hand maybe that's a good thing. Brevity is the soul of wit. Though I'll admit no wit is in evidence so far. But I'd better just quit while I'm behind. English people are waiting to murder one another.
