Tediously operating the cranky computer, which needs its monitor turned off and back on every two minutes or so. After half an hour or so of this the monitor won't come back on, and the machine must rest for a couple of hours. I'll be glad when Sluggo II has been replaced.

I can't see any walnuts left on the tree. The squirrels and raccoons have snatched them all.

Two or three more mild days, and then back to normal autumn, with about a 60% chance of rain predicted around the weekend, Friday on. Maye into next week. The forecast doesn't go that far yet. There's a chance I'll get my first shopping trip with rain for the season.
