Nothing In Particular

Yesterday's impressive clouds, which were supposed to hang around today, didn't. Instead we had a scattering of fluffy little white things. Nice to look at, but not at all what I'd expected. Nevertheless, the forecast now says there is a possibility of rain tomorrow and Thursday. Not much of a possibility, topping out at around 35%, but it would be a nice change if we do get it. But first those clouds will have to beef up. To me it looks like they might need the cloud equivalent of steroids to do so.

Today was Talk Like a Pirate Day, but as nobody has been around but the cats it seemed rather pointless to do so. I don't think the cats can tell the difference. It might as well be Talk Like Cary Grant Day, or Talk Like Mae West Day, as far as they care. As long as they get fed, I doubt they care what I sound like. Aarrrrh.

Either there is some sort of irritant in the air or I'm coming down with a cold, as I've been sneezing all evening. Well, I believe it is ragweed season, so I shouldn't be surprised. If we get that rain any ragweed-induced sneezing should go away. If it doesn't, then it's probably a cold and I'll be eating a lot of soup. It's a good thing I stocked up on ramen.
