Reset Thirty-Five, Day Thirty-Six

Did I post an entry of not? I can't remember. I know that there was more split shift sleeping Tuesday, but from around ten o'clock until two o'clock, both day and night. An hour earlier than Monday. Maybe today I can do nine to one. I also don't remember what Tuesday dinner was, or even if there was one. I do know that I just fried a potato for breakfast, or whatever this is. Frying potatoes is something I remember how to do. Buying them is what I most often forget. Coming unglued from reality is rather scattered. Not all parts of reality are equally detached.

The fog today is not on the ground, but there's quite an overcast. I rather like the way it looks. A jay was screeching in the back yard a while ago, but is quiet now. Oh, I typed "fig" instead of "fog" back there. It's been a long time since I've had figs. I wonder if they have any in the stores right now? I should buy some again before I die. I didn't much like them when I was a kid, but I'd like to be reminded why. Just to make sure. Maybe they are one of those things you only like when you get old. I should get a persimmon too, so I can have fur on my tongue again. And some butterscotch candy. I liked that even when I was a kid, but I think it's required that old people carry it around. I don't want to be a senile delinquent scofflaw.

I couldn't see the Leonid meteors last tonight because a) overcast and b) bright lights big mini-metropolis. I likely won't see the partial lunar eclipse Friday morning for the same reasons. It's supposed to rain here Friday morning anyway. Between rain and eclipse I'd probably take rain. You can't put fires out with an eclipse.

Chilly in here. The covers are calling me.
