Reset Nineteen, Day Seven

As expected, Tuesday was much like Monday, except that I didn't get up until four o'clock in the afternoon. Four o'clock! I was awake a few times earlier, but just couldn't summon enough energy to actually get out of bed. I would think dismal thoughts for a few minutes, then pull the cover over my head and go back to sleep. One would think that I'd at least get a few interesting dream fragments out of that, but I didn't. I have a vague impression that they were there, but they just didn't remain in my memory.

A few more fruit flies (it that's what they are) have drowned themselves in various beverages over the last couple of days. A couple of them I have fished out, and although they are unable to fly at first they do survive. as far as I know. Perhaps they succumb after vanishing from my sight. One eventually flew away after drying out, and the other walked under some things on the table and I never saw it again. I have no idea if I've drunk any of them, as I did have a glass of porter with dinner Tuesday night, and the bugs aren't noticeable in that.

I have no idea where the day went. I did remember to bring the wheelie bin back from the street, and I did check the mail, but everything else is a blur, mostly of the internet variety. I nodded off a few times in the evening, but didn't take a nap. A string of hottish days is on the way, which does not please me, but I wasn't consulted. If I had been, we'd be getting more rain, but it look like warm weather is settling in for the season. Pity.

There's an avocado to eat, and then I'll try to get to sleep. If today is like yesterday then I'll probably end up reading until the sun is up.
