gericault_the raft of the medusa 2

Well, that was weird...

I don't remember when I fell asleep, but it must have been before ten o'clock last night. I woke up and had no idea what time it was, but there was an infomercial on television and so I knew it was pretty late, but it was still dark out so I knew it was pretty early. The clock I can see doesn't work, and the clock that works I can't see. I tried to get back to sleep but don't know if I did or not, but eventually a bird was chirping and I saw pale light through the drapes, so I got up and it was then half past five in the morning. The computer was still on, but I had never written the journal entry I was planning to post last night, and now I can't remember what it was about. I think this all happened because I woke up too early yesterday morning and didn't get a nap yesterday afternoon. Anyway, I'll probably be muddled for a couple more hours and vaguely disoriented for the rest of the day.

I miss having a routine.

A Moon For LJ

The new style of the LJ login and user info pages is bland and buggy. The pale gray lettering is very difficult for me to read with my poor sight. Also, the "View Friends Feed" link on my user info page does diddley squat if I just click on it, but if I right click and choose "Open in new tab" it fetches the page. Glad I have a tabbed browser. I've switched back to the old style, though, which you can do from the "?" icon in the bar at the top of the new page (second icon from the right.) Click and it gives you a drop-down box for feedback and support requests and, for now at least, the option of switching back to the old style. I voted with my mouse. The old style was never very good, but at least I could read it without squinting, and the links all worked.

The moon is looking big tonight. I suspect it of being up to something. If it crashes into the Earth I hope it does so with a minimum of fuss. I'm tired, and I want to get some undisturbed sleep.
