Wetness Due

It now appears certain that there will be rain tomorrow, starting before dawn and lasting through mid-morning at least. After that the chance of rain continues through Friday evening, but much diminished. The clouds gathered this evening and are now quite thick, so I won't be seeing the moon tonight. It hasn't gotten very cold yet, and will probably stay above 50 degrees all night. Earlier I thought I heard thunder (uh oh) but it turned out to be just a passing jet plane.

Rain in June! Such a luxury here! It's almost like living in Seattle. In fact it's going to be so cool tomorrow that I probably won't even have the windows open. Most of them aren't open tonight, as I'll need to conserve the day's warmth for two days. I have no desire to turn the furnace on again until fall.

But I think I'll have something baked for dinner tomorrow, and maybe make a batch of brownies... oh, wait. The milk has gone off, and I won't be able to replace it until my next shopping trip. Rats. I knew there was something I forgot at the store Friday. Ah, well. At least I've got plenty of ramen. That's always mice on a chilly night.
