The coming storms are not expected to be as cold as the recent one, so snow remains unlikely at this elevation. The snowpack in the higher mountains is still below normal for this date, too. Still, it's not as bad as it was a few years ago. A few good January and February storms could get us up to normal. At this point it just isn't possible to tell if we're still in the long drought or not.
The feral cats were happy to have a few dry hours to go out and re-mark their territory, though I'm sure they'd have been happier if they'd gotten a bit of sunshine to bask in. They'll have to wait until Friday for that, though, and will have to enjoy it while they can because there's no telling when the next sunny day will come.
Still no desktop (I'm going to have so much email to download when I finally get that thing set up.) Making out my shopping list with the laptop was tedious, and my neck is ready for a rest. Television has returned to normal now that the holidays are over, and I'm delighted to have it back. Now if I can only manage to stay awake while watching it.
