A more vigorous rain has fallen all day today, and it is unlikely that it will get cold enough for it to turn to snow. As the weather is expected to get slightly warmer tomorrow and remain so all week, snow is probably out of the question for this series of storms. Too bad. It would be a nice change from all the sogginess.

The wind has been kicking up for about half an hour now, and as that increases the likelihood of a power outage I should probably go microwave my dinner now, lest I end up heating another can of soup instead. The laptop still hasn't been replaced by the new(ish) desktop, and the strain on my neck is another reason to move from Internets to television. If there is a power outage I hope it doesn't come while I'm in the middle of watching something.

Portia is snoring. That cat is way more comfortable than I am.
