The latest rain storm started very early Friday morning with soft sprinkles, but sometime after dawn turned quite fierce. The wind was bending the pine trees so far I thought one or more might snap, but they have all survived. Right now it's back to sprinkles, but it might turn blustery again. It's very cold out, but probably not cold enough for the rain to turn to snow. There will be no white Christmas here.
There will be no shopping on Sunday, either, as the stores will all be closed for the holiday. I lost track of the dates and had thought that Christmas was Saturday, but being it's Sunday I'll have to make different arrangements. Oh, bother.
