More Wet

It rained all day today, as far as I know. I slept for along time, but it probably kept raining then. It rained all evening until about an hour ago, when it eased up and a fog formed. It's impossible to tell how much visibility is diminished by night, of course, but it looks pretty thick. The streetlight on the next block is blurry and has a thick halo around it. It is also very quiet out, except for the continued dripping of water from the trees. It's a wonder they can hold so much given their lack of leaves.

Anyway, the weekend is supposed to be rainy again so I've scheduled my shopping trip for tomorrow, when it is supposed to be somewhat less rainy. I'm going to try to get some sleep tonight, as I didn't wake up until almost two o'clock today, and that would be cutting it too close if I sleep that late tomorrow. I keep forgetting to get a new alarm clock. I really need one. The oven timer doesn't make a good substitute.
