There will be no moon tonight, and the sky is clear, so it will be a good night for cooling off outdoors and watching the stars. The feral cats will probably be glad of the company, especially the one who was sick over the weekend. He appears to be largely recovered, and rubbed against my pant legs a few times after eating a bit of dinner. I haven't had my diner yet, having unwisely stuffed myself on pie late this afternoon. I'll probably be hungry enough to eat a sandwich in an hour and a half or so. I don't want to leave it too late, as last night I fell asleep not long after one o'clock, and slept for about seven hours, so I didn't take a nap today. I'm hoping I'll have a repeat of that pattern tonight. Only tonight I hope I remember to turn off the computer before going to sleep. It ran all night last night.
Oh, and I have to remember to put the wheelie bins out for tomorrows trash collection. There's a lot of yard waste going out this week, but there are still quite a few leaves that wouldn't fit in them, so I'll be stuffing them again quite soon. The long range forecast isn't predicting any more big windstorms, so maybe there'll be a bit less to rake over the next couple of weeks, giving me time to catch up with the leaves I've still got from the last storm. Maybe it's a good thing there isn't going to be rain. Dry leaves are a lot easier to deal with than damp leaves.
