In the meantime the clouds have worn away to a thin haze, and after all those pleasantly gray days the bright afternoon is making me squint. I don't like to squint. It makes me look like I'm trying to look like Clint Eastwood, which makes me feel foolish. True there's nobody around to see me squinting (except feral cats, of course, and they have no idea who Clint Eastwood is, so won't judge me) but I can feel myself squinting and must judge myself. This sort of thing is why I need lots of distraction. If Google doesn't come back I guess I'll be stuck watching television the rest of the day. But no Clint Eastwood movies.
