Groggy

I must not have been caught up on my sleep yet, because today I napped right up until it was time to leave for the chiropractor's office, and then when I got home I promptly fell asleep again and slept until it was almost too late to water the back yard. But I did manage to get it watered, though I rushed the job. All the time I was out the dusk was made mournful by the whining of the unhappy dog who lives in the house beyond my back fence. I don't know what is making that dog so unhappy, but it whines and howls most of the day anymore. Before it began whining and howling it used to bark a lot, so maybe whatever they did to it that caused it to stop barking is what is making it unhappy, but I have no idea what that was.

Anyway, all the sleeping has made my dinner late again. I'll probably just make a quick sandwich, though it's almost cool enough this evening that I could have had the oven on for a while. I just don't want to wait for something to get cooked. My blood sugar is about to crash, and if I don't eat right now I'll have to stuff whatever is immediately edible into my mouth, and that wouldn't be good for me. Chips and salsa do not make a dinner.
