Shoot Me Now

This computer has been slower than my braised brain today. I probably won;t be able to turn the air conditioner off and open the windows until midnight tonight. My fingers are dyslexic. I haven't had my dinner. I forgot to put the wheelie bin out. Tomorrow I have an appointment with the chiropractor, and will stop on the way home to get stuff the markets were out of on Sunday. I don't look forward to going out in the heat, but it can't be helped. There are vertebrae out of place and I'm altogether cranky.

At this point the only thing that would improve my disposition is probably a freak snowstorm. Either that or the appearance of a rogue comet that would pull the earth out of its orbit and at least a couple hundred thousand miles farther from the sun. In July in California the former is about as likely as the latter, so I guess I'm stuck with being cranky until autumn comes. What a drag.
