Act

The new router hasn't exploded yet, nor has it quit doing what it's supposed to do. I thought for a while this morning that it was having trouble, as certain pages were failing to load, but it turned out that Google was having trouble for a few hours. I actually had to use Bing for searches! It was not adequate for my purposes, and I was glad when Google got over itself and began functioning again.

This evening I got the yard watered before it was fully dark out. The ground might hold the water well, as we are about to have four fairly mild days in a row, if the forecast is correct. There won't be another real scorcher until Sunday, which means I have to go shopping in the heat again, but the succeeding days are expected to be even worse so I'll be grateful if next week's shopping is not delayed. Alas, I have to go to the chiropractor next Tuesday, which will be over 100 degrees, but it can't be put off. There's no telling how bad the following week will get, anyway.

Because my sleep schedule has been so odd, leading to terribly late dinners, I decided to have dinner at three o'clock this afternoon. But I still haven't done the dishes. I really need to get my act together.
