It will be moonless for many hours tonight, and when the moon does rise it will be a waning crescent. A thick crescent, but a crescent none the less. The days are getting hotter again, too. Almost all the jasmine blossoms have turned brown. I'm not giving the plants enough water this year to keep them blooming into July, and the unusually high temperatures are not helping. The landscape is suffering nearly full summer dessication before summer officially begins, which will be this Saturday. Dog Days on the way.
