Today I did some floor washing in the kitchen and it left my left leg catawampus. I have to get on the floor to wash it because I don't currently have a mop, and getting on the floor for the length of time it takes to wash any significant part of the floor is very hard on my knees. I could get knee pads, but if I'm going to spring for knee pads I might as well spend a bit more and get a new mop. True, a mop doesn't leave the floor as sparkly as getting down and scrubbing it with a sponge does, but there's something to be said for not ending up with the knees of a 19th century grandmother as well.

Anyway, my left leg didn't want to work properly for about half an hour, and the knee is still a bit sore. I let it rest in front of the television for a while, and since my leg was there I stayed with it and watched the television. The leg was not interested in watching anything but just napped. After a while I fell asleep myself, and napped for an hour or so, and the television watched itself.

Oh, and last night the crown on one of my molars that had already lost a corner lost its whole top. I still don't have enough money for dental work, so I hope it doesn't start hurting soon, or that the disintegration of the crown does not accelerate, or that none of my other old dental work fails. It's too bad they didn't develop this treatment many years ago.

The jasmine is fading fast. I'm going out to spend some time with it before it's all gone.
