Interruption

Yesterday's sunshine must have encouraged the gladioli to bloom, but this afternoon they are drooping, weighed down by rain. Tonight they might get frozen, as there is a possibility that the snow level will drop this low. I've never seen the white gladioli blooming while there was snow on the ground. That could be an interesting sight, but I'd gladly miss it to keep the gladioli and lilacs and rose buds from getting frostbit.

Oh, crap, here comes another afternoon thunderstorm. I'd better shut down.
