Shopped

A surprise change in my schedule let me get the shopping out of the way today, so tomorrow is totally free. That means it can be just like any other day of the week. But because unplanned shopping disrupted today's schedule, I'll probably spend tomorrow recovering from today. I had a very late lunch, and then when I got home ate a donut I bought at Safeway, so I'll probably end up having dinner at eleven o'clock or so. I still have no idea what it will be. I splurged on a frozen lasagna, but I don't want to eat that tonight. It will probably end up being a can of beans again. The later it gets, the less I want to do any cooking.

The prediction of rain later this week has been moved up from Wednesday to Tuesday and the chances increased from 80% to 100%. It will probably rain Wednesday, too, and maybe Thursday as well. In fact there is now at least some chance of rain seven days in a row, starting Tuesday. If it does rain, it will be welcome. The soil is getting a bit dry and I really don't want to irrigate unless I absolutely have to to keep plants alive.

It's nice that the weather is staying fairly cool. Some years March turns hot. I'm hoping that this will be one of those years when it doesn't turn hot until June, and then not very hot. And while I'm at it I might as well hope that everybody gets a pony. Though maybe a camel would be more appropriate.
