Wrong

Today I played hurry up and wait, and it all came to nothing. It was hurry up and wait for people, and hurry up and wait for this aging computer. It's impossible to say which was more annoying. There will probably be more hurry up and wait tomorrow. Tonight it will be hurry up and wait for sleep. That's because I fell asleep this afternoon, and before falling asleep I forgot to put away a carton of ice cream I'd taken from the freezer. It sat waiting for me for about three hours.

After the unintentional nap I discovered the melted ice cream dripping from the carton onto the sink board. I had to throw it away, of course. I suppose I could have eaten some of it right then, as there was probably a bit at the center that wasn't yet melted, but I didn't feel like eating ice cream right after waking up, and at six o'clock in the evening, before dinner. On the whole it was a pretty crappy day. There seem to be more of those than there used to be. I must be doing something wrong.

And look at that. I just had to wait for LJ to show me my user icons so I could pick the right one. How did they ever manage to break that?
