A couple of white irises have bloomed. They resemble small versions of the big white clouds that floated above all afternoon. By evening, the sky had grown gray, and the irises were grew dim with nightfall. There could be rain tonight, but none has fallen yet. There could be rain tomorrow, and there will surely be clouds. I hope there is rain, as it's a shame to waste a gray day with dryness. I won't even mind if I get wet when I go shopping. Every drop counts.
