Well

This morning I tried reading for a while, but it put me to sleep and I didn't wake up until about two o'clock in the afternoon. My mistake was probably trying to read lying down and covered with a fuzzy blanket. Having a cat purring next to me didn't help, I'm sure. Anyway, I missed lunch and decided to have a cinnamon roll as a snack, but apparently even a small cinnamon roll is enough to suppress my appetite for several hours. I'm about to start making dinner now. At least sleeping through the middle of the day prevented me from doing anything rash, such as more yard work or any significant housecleaning. The house is comfortably untidy, and the yard is all but invisible by night, so this has to be counted as a day well spent.
