Flaming

I found out why AT&T didn't shut down my Internets as they said they had to do in order to change the name on my telephone account. I got three letters from them today about the change, and they were all addressed to the old account name. They didn't make the change they said they'd made! Now I've had to call them and go through the whole annoying process again. This time the Internets are supposed to go away on Tuesday and come back on Thursday. I just hope they actually get it done (and with everything spelled right) this time. I don't want to have to do this yet again.

Damn. The IRS is easier to deal with than AT&T.

But we just had a whole night without smoke from the fires, and so far there's been no smoke today, so even though it's hot, at least I can breathe. Things could be worse. After all, if AT&T ran the fire service the entire state probably would have gone up in flames by now. Thank goodness for socialist fire fighting!
