The heat has stimulated the jasmine, and it is now dense with blossoms. The scent is even making its way into the house as soon as I open the back door. It almost overwhelms the smell of cat droppings from the rose bed. I'm going to have to clean those up again.
Having missed my appointment with the chiropractor Tuesday has begun to take a toll. I'm starting to get headaches. The heat is probably contributing to it, too, and I might be getting additional irritation from the fresh pollen coming out of the jasmine. As much as I love the scented nights, the first couple of days of it usually do bad things to my sinuses. Every pleasure has its price, I suppose.
