Butt Off

Afternoon brought a bit of sunshine, but then the clouds came back not long after we got a glimpse of the waxing crescent moon. There will probably be more rain tonight, and there will be overcast for the rest of this week. By Saturday night the low temperature is likely to go below freezing again, and there's no sign that the early part of April will be any different. I'm heartily sick of this belated winter prolonging itself, and of the smell of damp that pervades the air in this leaky house. If it weren't so cold out I'd move onto the back porch with the feral cats.

But here's something that made me chuckle. Amusement is not a perfect substitute for a springlike spring, but it helps.
