Heated and Groggy

The air was full of Belabor Day barbecue smoke all afternoon. As far as I know, none of the neighbors ate any of the feral cats. They probably just ate bits of dead cow and pig. I don't have a grill, so I just made a tuna sandwich. Got to get rid of that stuff before it goes bad anyway. Then I fell asleep on the couch before opening the windows for the evening, so the house is still hot. The day was pretty much a a waste, but there is still watermelon so there's a chance that the night will be better. I'm still groggy from the unintended nap. I'm going to go stick my head under the faucet for a while. It's a good thing I don't have to go back to school anymore.
